Journey up Manning Stairs

Ascend the 192-step staircase along Manning Ridge, a one-kilometre trail featuring 5 landings and 4 seats, leading you to two captivating lookouts offering:

Panoramic views: At the summit, be rewarded with stunning vistas of Jervoise Bay, Cockburn Sound, and the Darling Scarp.
Exercise and enjoyment: Ideal for fitness enthusiasts, the stairs provide a rewarding workout in a beautiful natural setting.

Planning your visit

Location: Situated in the tranquil Manning Park Reserve, perfect for picnics and nature exploration.
Vehicle access: From the southern car park at Manning Lake, the stairs are part of the culturally rich Davilak Trail.
Visiting hours: 6am – 8pm (October-April) and 7am – 5.30pm (May-September).
Safety note: It is recommended you visit during daylight hours due to the absence of lighting.
