Coogee Beach Reserve and swimming enclosure

Located in the suburb of Coogee and part of the Woodman Point Regional Park, Coogee Beach Reserve is not just a beach but an adventure destination. It's known for its crystal-clear waters and vibrant atmosphere, making it one of the most popular spots along Cockburn’s coastline.

Attractions

  • Swimming enclosure: Located next to Coogee Jetty, the swimming enclosure spans aproximately 300 metres in length and 75 metres in width, creating an accessible safe haven for swimmers and marine life alike. Regular inspectons are undertaken throughout the year to ensure the enclosure’s integrity – especially after a storm.

  • Pontoons: Enjoy two pontoons for diving or floating during summer. One pontoon is within the swimming enclosure for added safety.

C.Y. O'Connor Beach

C Y O'Connor Beach is a tranquil and picturesque spot in North Coogee. Renowned for its clear waters and dog-friendly areas, it's the perfect beach for pet owners and nature lovers alike.

  • Swimming, diving, and snorkelling: Immerse yourself in the clear waters, ideal for swimming and exploring the underwater marvel of the nearby shipwreck.
  • Dog-friendly beach: A special area designated for dogs allows pets to frolic in the surf, making it a favorite for dog owners.
