Outrage Holiday Program

The Outrage Holiday Program is an exciting program providing supervised activities for 12-16 year olds every school holidays.

All days have a cost of $35. Lunch is provided some days although we recommended participants bring money, drinks and snacks.

Bouldering / Coogee Beach Hang Out
 

Start the day at a brand-new venue in Cockburn – Adrenaline Vault bouldering – to learn climbing skills without a harness. In the afternoon we’ll be heading to the beach for swimming and games.

Lasercorps / Movies
                                     
One of our most popular days. Enjoy the morning at the Bibra Lake Lasercorps course, including a sausage sizzle. Then join us on a trip to Hoyts for the latest movie. Be quick this one always sells quickly.

Wednesday, 20 December Indoor Archery / Beach Hangout

Travel with us to Outback Splash and enjoy a day full of fun. This summer waterslides include the plummet, the wall, blackout, gold rush and the fastest slide in WA – the wedgie. All unique to Outback Splash.

Wednesday, 3 January Skateboard Tuition / Youth Centre

Learn to skate or advance your skills with the Beyond skate team at their indoor facility. In the afternoon we head back to the youth centre where we’ll hold hall sports and a pool competition. The computer pod will also be open.

Thursday, 4 January Ten Pin Bowling / Ice Skating

In the morning we’ll strike a few pins at Melville Superbowl and then we’ll get our skates on at Cockburn Ice arena for the afternoon.

A popular day that sells out fast! The indoor go-karts are fast and fabulous fun. After two hours of karting, we head back to the Youth Centre for lunch and indoor laser tag.

Whiteman Caversham Wildlife Park

Meet a wombat, feed the kangaroos or cuddle a koala. These are just some of the animals you’ll get to close to at Caversham wildlife park. Then enjoy Whiteman Park and the surrounds.

Rotto

Join us for a day on the bike at Rottnest. We will tour the island and check out the gunnery and lighthouse and then find a sandy sheltered bay to swim in. The ride is an enjoyable pace around 15km long. You will need bike skill and fitness.

Swan Vallery Lasercorps

Laser corps has a huge range of laser taggers from pistols to SMG’s to sniper rifles. Their battlefields are filled with bunkers, huts, creeks and bridges for the ultimate laser tag skirmish. Played in teams, this game is for those who want to take their gaming to a new level.

Kayaking to Penguin Island

Paddle from the mainland over to the unique Penguin Island in Rockingham. Search for penguins and other wildlife, go for a swim in the bay and maybe even a snorkel.  Kayaks and life vests are provided.
 

Bring: Footwear (may get wet), appropriate clothing, swimwear and snorkelling equipment (not essential), water bottle, snacks

Spaces are limited and online registrations are required.

How much does Outrage cost?

Each day of Outrage costs the same, $35. This is usually paid during online registration.

Please be aware that bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Pick Up and Drop Off Locations

We offer three pick up and drop off locations:

  • Success - Cockburn Youth Centre, 25 Wentworth Parade, Success. Bus departs: 9am
  • Beeliar - Beeliar Community Hall, Lakefront Ave, Beeliar. Bus departs: 9.15am
  • Hamilton Hill - Café Mint & Chilli nr Memorial Hall, Cnr Rockingham Rd & Carrington St, Hamilton Hill. Bus departs: 9.30am

Drop-off times are estimated. Please allow up to 15 minutes for traffic conditions.

Program Rules

All participants must comply with the program rules that are stated online when booking. Please read the rules to your young person as they cover language, behaviour and general program expectations. Our rules ensure that the program runs safely and that all participants enjoy themselves.

At the time of booking, a Participant Contract needs to be completed as it is important that everyone is aware of what is acceptable behaviour to ensure the enjoyment and wellbeing of all participants.

Frequently Asked Questions 

My child is not quite 12, can they still enrol?
Yes, the target age for Outrage is 12–16 years but we do accept enrolments from those who are turning 12 this year.
What considerations around Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been made?
With the outbreak of COVID-19, the City’s greatest priority is the health and safety of its community. For all
Outrage events:
  • If your child feels ill prior to the event, please cancel their attendance at [email protected] or call 9411 3888
  • Hand sanitiser and/or wipes will be available if in stock (please bring your own if possible).
  • Numbers per event will be a maximum of 30 attendees.
  • Lunches and snacks are preferred to be brought from home. There will be a limited food provided. These should not be shared between participants.
  • Inform your child of the need for social distancing.

We encourage all attendees to practice good hygiene and to follow the guidelines released from the various government authorities. For more information on the coronavirus visit the WA Department of Health website.
Why do you need my Medicare number when registering?
In the unlikely event that your child needs urgent medical attention, the provision of their Medicare number will assist in their prompt treatment.
Is lunch included?
Depending on the day, lunch or snacks may be provided. On days where you must bring or purchase your own food, we recommend bringing $10–15 to purchase lunch.
